Interior Designer • Educator • Curator

I'm the founder of brookelane Design Studio, a Hudson Valley-based interior design studio rooted in thoughtful design, intentional living, and well-being. I believe our surroundings have the power to influence how we live, work, gather, and feel, and my goal is to create spaces that are both beautiful and deeply supportive of everyday life.

Whether I'm developing a conceptual design plan, sourcing one-of-a-kind vintage pieces, leading a workshop, or guiding a client through a Space Alignment Session, my work is grounded in curiosity, creativity, and the belief that great design begins with understanding the people who inhabit a space.

With a background in education, I believe great design is as much about understanding the process as it is about the finished space. I enjoy helping clients understand not only what choices to make, but why they work—creating spaces that feel authentic, intentional, and uniquely their own.

My Philosophy

I believe our surroundings influence how we live, work, gather, and feel. Every project begins by understanding the people who will use the space and creating environments that support their everyday lives.

Rather than following trends, I focus on timeless design through thoughtful planning, natural materials, vintage and antique furnishings, and meaningful details that tell a story. My goal is to create spaces that feel collected, personal, and designed to evolve with you over time.

Beyond the Studio

Design is just one way I connect with my community. I also lead creative workshops that encourage hands-on learning and offer Reiki for the body and home as a complementary wellness practice. I'm currently completing my Feng Shui certification, further expanding my understanding of how thoughtfully designed environments can support balance and everyday well-being.

I'm equally passionate about using design to make a meaningful impact. Through the Love In Action Project, I'm leading the transformation of Family House, Ulster County's only emergency shelter for runaway and homeless youth, creating spaces that foster dignity, comfort, and hope.
