Stanfordville, NY | Residential
This full-service interior design project reimagines a mid-century home that perfectly balances the outdoors with the original charm of its 1967 build. Brooke Lane Design Studio used a rich palette of burgundy, greens, and blues to complement the warm wood paneling, creating a modern yet timeless aesthetic.
A favorite detail: a Schumacher fabric called Pointer—featuring a playful dog print reminiscent of the client’s pup—adds a personal and unexpected touch. The bathroom features a serene, monochrome beige palette with unlacquered brass and organic tiles, while the powder bath brings in Hudson Valley–inspired wallpaper and a grounding pebble floor. A blue-painted ceiling and trim tie the entire space together.
In the mudroom, slate flooring and custom walnut built-ins with a warm red undertone add richness, texture, and functionality—showcasing Brooke Lane’s signature blend of craftsmanship, story, and holistic design.
