Kingston, NY | Residential

This apartment is more than just a design project—it’s a personal sanctuary infused with story, sentiment, and purpose. Set within a historic building, its soaring ceilings, intricate trimwork, and original fixtures offered a rich foundation to build upon. Every detail—from bold color choices to thoughtfully sourced vintage pieces—was chosen to honor the home’s character while reflecting the client’s unique style. Her personal art collection was central to the design, including her grandmother’s paintings, portraits of her great-grandparents, and artwork that nodded to her great-grandfather’s background in the circus. The goal was never to erase the past, but to celebrate it—layering in memory, meaning, and soul.
